About Me

Truly I am not a specialist. I have and do currently represented Buyers, Sellers, Landlords, and Tenants in just about every facet of Commercial Real Estate including Industrial, Land, Office, Self-Storage, NNN, Restaurants, Apartments, Hotels and Residential properties in Mexico and the Caribbean over the last 32 years. I also manage and lease property for Landlords. And, from time to time, I buy and sell for my own account.

I arrived in Houston on 7/7/77 not knowing a soul and fell in love with this City over the last 41 years. It isn’t who you know in this City, it’s what you do that counts. I saw huge opportunity during Houston’s major economic recession in Commercial Real Estate during the mid ’80s and was licensed in Commercial RE in 1986. My youth was spent living over-seas as a corporate dependent, which gave me the opportunity to learn Spanish and Portuguese. I attended The Rectory and Cheshire Academy in New England and graduated from the University of Miami in ’74 with a Degree in Communications. I have three sons, Schuyler Ford, pursuing his dreams as an actor/writer/producer in LA; Chad, who owns Sterling Construction and Sean a junior at Texas A&M. Current hobbies of mine include sailing, gardening, and traveling. I volunteered with various youth programs as a coach/umpire in sports leagues through the years and served in various community organizations including President of the Westbriar Middle School Athletic Booster Club and currently as a  VP for my HOA.
